The VIP CONCERT 2013: A harmonious event to benefit G-Clef Music Academy
The symphony orchestra of the Territory, Virgin Islands Philharmonic, cordially invites you to its second VIP CONCERT on Friday, May 10, 2013. The VIP CONCERT Dinner and Dance is taking place at the fabulous Frenchman's Reef Marriott Beach Resort on St. Thomas at 7:00pm. This island elegant event will be like no other. The Virgin Islands Philharmonic will deliver a variety of music, including classical, waltz and pop music. Special guest singers and the G-Clef Music Academy Youth Band will also perform. Guests can enjoy the harmonies during dinner and dance later if they desire.
The orchestra consists of dedicated musicians in the community of various ages and is conducted by James H. Gumbs, Jr. This is an opportunity for the Virgin Islands Philharmonic (VIP) to raise funds for future musicians. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of much needed instruments for VIP members, as well as provide scholarship funding through G-Clef Music Academy for youth who are interested in receiving music education.
