G-Clef Music Academy is excited to hold its 8th Annual Summer Music Camp. G-Clef will help several young musicians, ages 6 to 14, grow in music this summer. We want your child to be among the campers, but you have to register early to save your child a slot!

Registration is open for G-Clef’s seven-week 2017 Summer Music Camp. The camp runs from June 19, 2017 to August 4, 2017, but parents can choose 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7-week camp tuition packages. Now through March 31, 2017, take advantage of a SPECIAL SAVINGS OFFER. SAVE $75.00 OFF your child's 7-week camp tuition! The savings are in the Summer Music Camp Application ONLINE!
Camp Days, Times and Location
The full day camp operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm at G-Clef, which is located at Mandela Circle in the Havensight shopping area on the 2nd floor of the LaBorde Plaza Building. You enter G-Clef Music Academy in the rear of the building where there's plenty of parking!
Beginners Welcome for Music Adventure
Children, who are beginners or beyond, have the opportunity to play up to eight instruments! G-Clef's Summer Music Camp is providing a music adventure for students to learn piano, guitar, violin, brass, woodwinds, steel pan, drums, voice and interpretive dance.
Learn Music the Fun Way
Your child will learn THREE instruments each weekday morning. Please select ONE PRIMARY instrument for your child to learn. Your child will play his/her primary instrument for the Grande Recital. You also select TWO ELECTIVE instruments for your child to learn. The instrument options are: piano, guitar, drums, violin, voice and steel pan. Music Theory is included. Music instruction will be conducted in the classroom through presentations, class games, computer music theory games, and other fun activities. After lunch time, we fill your child's afternoons with opportunities for him/her to play music in groups. Ensembles, include G-Clef's drum corps, youth orchestra, pop band, string ensembles, choir and interpretive/traditional dance.
Lunch and Snacks
Lunch and afternoon snack will be provided at G-Clef's 2017 Summer Music Camp by the VI Department of Education's Food Service Program--ONLY when they are served in the summer by the program. We provide a morning break between classes. You may send a morning snack with your child if you desire. Most children prefer to eat during this break!
Camp Orientation
A parent-guardian Summer Music Camp Orientation is set for Friday, June 16 at 5:30pm-6:30pm at G-Clef.
Grande Recital and Other Special Events
G-Clef's Grande Recital will be held on Thursday, August 3 at 4:00pm. Campers will make solo and group performances at this FREE recital. The location to be determined. The fun camp events are listed below.

2017 Summer Music Camp
Summer Time Music Academy - $80/month
Private Music Lessons in the Summer
For those parents who's children are currently enrolled in G-Clef Music Academy's After-School Music Academy or Saturday Music Academy, you are already familiar with our exciting music lesson offer. We provide WEEKLY 90-minute group music lessons on TWO INSTRUMENTS one day per week for only $80.00 per month! We're excited to let you know that we're offering the same weekly 90-minute group music lesson package during the summer on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Your child can learn music on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays during the Summer for $80.00 per month

Each 90-minute group music lesson is made up of TWO 45-minute lessons. Summer Time Music Academy students may select two instruments: piano, guitar, drums, and/or steel pan. All you have to do is come by and register your child for our Summer Time Music Academy program at G-Clef in the Laborde Plaza Building at Mandela Circle (near Havensight Mall).

G-Clef Music Academy wants students, who are making significant progress with one-on-one music instruction, to continue throughout this summer! We can arrange a day and time for your child and his/her instructor to have a 30, 45, or 60-minute private music lesson. Students may be scheduled for PRIVATE music lessons Monday through Friday after 3:30pm and on Saturdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Whether your child is interested in piano, guitar, violin, drums, steel pan, voice, woodwind, or brass instruments, G-Clef Music Academy can provide private instruction to keep your child on his/her progressive track during this summer!
